Dr. Ray's journey into dentistry began with a simple coin flip between medicine and dentistry, and he has never looked back. What started as a chance decision became a career built on passion, discipline, and a deep commitment to doing dentistry the right way.
Raised in a middle-class family and shaped by a disciplined upbringing, Dr. Ray learned early the value of hard work and persistence. Before opening his own clinic, he spent years pushing himself to master as many areas of dentistry as possible. He completed his government service in Melaka, worked at Mahkota Medical Centre, and spent years working across multiple clinics, often seven days a week, to sharpen his skills in procedures like braces, implants, and wisdom tooth surgery.
That dedication led him to found Dr Ray & Partners Dental in 2018, first in Bandar Manjalara, and he has spent the years since building a practice grounded in quality care, thorough treatment planning, and long-term patient trust. Dr. Ray believes dentistry should never be about price alone. For him, real value comes from careful diagnosis, clear treatment planning, quality execution, and proper aftercare.
Today, his focus remains on delivering thoughtful, patient-centred dentistry with a strong emphasis on braces, implants, clear aligners, and wisdom tooth surgery, while continuing to grow a clinic culture that reflects the same high standards he holds for himself.
